After a couple of weeks of resting combined with gentle exercises, I started pulling back on a baby bow then gradually moving up the strengths. A good thing about the physio is that he has given me exercises to strengthen up not just the affected muscle, but also the surrounding muscles as well. I'm now back up to shooting my black Hoyt as the limbs are only about 4 lbs down on my W&W. I'm at camp for a whole weekend so I'm hoping to move back up to my normal weight and see how it goes.
Another downside to all this is that I missed a warm-up competition at Bassetlaw (Hi Ellie!) and also the first 720 head-to-head of the year down at Lilleshal. I have now entered the Selby Western as my next 'warm-up' followed by a Western at Danum, hopefully giving me time to get back to my full strength for the next 720 at Evesham at the end of May.
