My scores were 1070 on the first day and 1090 on the second which gave me enough to beat the old county record by 81 points. My 60 yards still needs work as I have to reverse my sight but hopefully after the Youth Festival at Lilleshall in August I will be looking at moving up my poundage. I'd had a great coaching session with Amy earlier in the week and my form felt much better. It was great shooting with Ben and Luke too - always have fun with those guys! :)
For the Northern Counties Champs at Wetherby, I moved up an age group and shot a double Bristol 2 - the first time I had shot this round. Although I'm not quite 16 yet, we thought I may as well start shooting the higher rounds as soon as I can. Proud to say I broke the county record for the double and I was really pleased with how I shot. The conditions were very mixed - Saturday was gusty but sunny while Sunday was less windy but more rainy. It seems almost every competition this year has been very windy, very rainy or both!
